GITEX partnership gives InfoComm Middle East platform
InfoComm International is pushing into the Middle East with InfoComm Middle East & Africa (IFMEA), a five day exhibition, co-located with GITEX in Dubai.

IFMEA will take place October 9-13, 2011 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre. The joint venture between
InfoComm Asia and Dubai World Trade Centre will be co-located GITEX, a regional ICT event.

Richard Tan, general manager
of InfoCommAsia, said: “The launch of our event comes at a turning point in the evolution of professional AV. The
migration of AV products onto IT networks is making systems integration a more net-centric process than ever before. Co-locating with
GITEX Technology Week therefore makes technology sense as well as business sense.”

IFMEA will act as a dedicated showcase
for AV products and solutions as well as featuring CTS-accredited education seminars from the InfoComm Academy. Manufacturers will be provided
with opportunities to present their solutions in conferences and training sessions.

Tan added that Mitsubishi, Extron, AMX, Crestron, Wolfvision and
Jupiter Systems had already confirmed booth space.

Terry Friesenborg, senior VP of International Development at InfoComm International, said Dubai
World Trade Centre was an established organiser for tradeshows in the Middle East and Gulf region and represented a strong partner for InfoComm.
