Google has halted sales of its Google Enterprise smart glasses, signalling the end for one of the first AR smart glasses product lines.
Glass was first sold to
developers and early adopters in 2013,
offered as a tool for enterprise customers
in 2017. A new model of
Google Glass was released in 2019,
with a new AR glasses concept
debuted in 2022 which highlighted real-time language
translation.
Google will continue to support
Glass Enterprise Edition until 15 September 2023.
