HTC Vive VR conferencing tool adds web browser and Android support
HTC’s Vive enterprise Sync VR conferencing tool has received an update which adds a new web browser and Android support alongside upgraded 3D object interfaces and visual improvements.

Sync’s ‘special preview’ version of its web browser
allows users to bring up internet pages via the Sync
tablet, allowing for video streaming, page browsing and viewing
of project management task lists.

Android support allows for
Sync meetings to occur via an Android device, allowing users
to collaborate remotely without a VR device.

Host controls
have also been added to Sync, allowing hosts to
mute, unmute and manage permissions for individual users or for
the entire room using a suite of host controls.
