Let your eyes control your ears

Let your eyes control your ears
A Japanese wireless carrier has developed discreet headphones that can be controlled with eye movement, according to gizmag.

The technology magazine reported that DoCoMo had based the technology on
a medical device that measures eye response called an electrooculogram (EOG). An
article on its website explained: “An EOG works on the principle
that the human cornea has a positive electrical charge. As the user
looks to the left or right, the charge shifts in the space
between the user’s ears – a change that can be easily detected
by appropriate sensors.”

A video, included below, demonstrates eye movement controlling
a music player. Commands include right to left to pause music, twice
to the right to skip a song and rolling eyes to raise volume.
