Panasonic has announced the acquisition of video management software developer Video Insight. The deal was concluded for an undisclosed amount.
Video Insight was founded in 2002
and provides commercial video management solutions for
security systems to end-users in financial, government, retail,
and transportation markets.
With the acquisition of
Video Insight, Panasonic plans to strengthen its
B2B solutions, specifically security and video surveillance
systems for the education sector.
Video Insight founders
Shaw and James Whitcomb will continue to
lead the firm as part of the deal.
