Digital advertising campaigns across Europe have been honoured at the 2010 POPAI D-A-CH digital awards. Belgium’s dZine scooped the ‘Best Digital Signage’ gong for its LCD escalator campaign at Tallaght shopping centre in Dublin, Ireland.
In the ‘Best Interactive’ category two companies were awarded prizes. The Audi Car Configurator,
submitted by Seen Media, Germany, shared the award with Nedap Tweet Mirror, a project submitted
by fellow German company, Nedap.
Echion Corporate Communication not only sponsored the awards but
was also honoured for ‘Best Sound’ with its Klangwelt Apollo Optik project. The Augsburg, Germany
based specialists in digital in-store media said it hoped its involvement would help attract the
attention of trading companies to what it described as “one of the most significant trends
for the future”.
‘Best Content Creativity’ went to Comtech Experience of Denmark for the
Diesel ’Be Stupid’ Photos campaign and Scala in Germany scooped the ‘Best Media Technology’ award
for Miele Inspirience Centre in Utrecht.
Finally Tchibo snapped up ‘Best Digital Media Concept’ for its Multi Channel product.
