The City Council of Kaunas, Lithuania opted for an audio system from Renkus-Heinz when it upgraded the 17-year-old sound system in its Grand Hall meeting space.
Situated in the city's modernist, 1940s-era Municipality Building,
the 300 sq m Grand Hall features a stained-glass
ceiling and glass art wall that created acoustic challenges
for audiences and council members.

AV integrator Audiotonas designed
and installed two Renkus-Heinz DC12/2 beam steerable columns in the
space.

The audio system operates as a public address
system for council meetings, guest presentations, and conferences, and
supports the council's AV-based voting system. It also supports
streaming video when needed and handles background music during breaks.
