A partnership between Doha-based systems integrator Ventum Tech and Disguise is set to accelerate the adoption of real-time content creation tools across the GCC region.
The announcement came during a two-day Open House Demo Experience hosted at Ventum Tech’s Experience Centre in West Bay, Doha, on May 27–28. The event brought together over 150 professionals from the broadcast, creative, and production industries, including major broadcasters such as Al Jazeera TV, Al Araby TV, and Qatar TV, as well as producers like Katara Studios.
Held in collaboration with tracking specialist Stype, and lighting solutions professional Chauvet, the event featured live demonstrations of extended reality (XR) production, 3D content creation, and advanced content management workflows, powered by Disguise and integrated by Ventum Tech.
Ben Gunkel, EMEA broadcast sales manager at Disguise, said the region was moving decisively toward immersive formats. “The Middle East is rapidly embracing immersive content technologies, and Qatar in particular is showing bold vision,” he said. “Partnering with Ventum Tech enables us to deliver scalable, real-time solutions that empower regional broadcasters and creatives.”
Ventum Tech, which focuses on AV, lighting, immersive technologies, and ELV systems, described the partnership as a key milestone in its mission to deliver global-standard solutions to the regional market.
“This partnership with Disguise is a natural alignment of vision,” said Tarek Mrad, managing partner at Ventum Tech. “We’re opening up new dimensions for broadcasters, producers, consultants, and designers across the region.”
Live demonstrations showed how the combined technologies of Disguise and Stype can support next-generation production workflows across broadcast, entertainment, and live event sectors, from virtual sets to real-time graphics integration, reflecting a growing demand in the GCC region for future-facing media infrastructure.
