Volkswagen under fire from Battersea projection
Volkswagen came under attack recently when Greenpeace used London’s Battersea Power Station as a massive projection screen for its campaign against the car manufacturer.

Bluman Associates was drafted in to beam an upturned
VW logo onto the London landmark with the tagline ‘Das
Problem’. The campaign is based on VW’s latest advertising push that
uses the tagline ‘Das Auto’.

The event was part of
Greenpeace’s crusade against Volkswagen’s alleged opposition to key environmental initiatives
to reduce CO2 emissions. It features the VWdarkside.com website set
up by the environmental campaign organisation to help supporters rebel against
VW’s ‘darkside’.

Greenpeace timed the projection to coincide with the
EcoVelocity, a low carbon motor show held at Battersea Power Station.
