Matrox will showcase a range of products at ISE 2020, presenting its new multi-system control feature, encoder alongside new graphics cards and a a presentation on AV/IT ecosystems.
Maevex and Monarch appliances
Matrox will debut its Maevex and Monarch encoder and decoder, designed for low-bitrate 4K and full HD content for live event webcasting and lecture capture applications as well as end-to-end platforms with new decode features.
The Maevex multi-4K encoders, Extio 3 IP KVM extenders and Mura IPX capture and IP encode/decode cards will be combined to create a control room ecosystem at the show, sharing information between operators and a videowall as well as between local and remote videowalls over LAN and internet.
Matrox will also demonstrate its QuadHead2Go multi-monitor controllers, showcasing new videowall systems that are designed to power videowalls.
Aggregator Mode
Matrox will demonstrate its Aggregator Mode multi-system control feature for its Extio 3 IP KVM extenders, allowing for an Extio 3 receiver unit to aggregate multiple video streams from multiple Extio 3 transmitter units.
Multiple computer desktops can then be viewed and controlled concurrently from an Extio 3 receiver unit, using one keyboard and mouse to access a multi-screen desktop of up to four displays, shifting control from one computer to another.
Aggregator Mode can support computers with multiple video outputs, with independent or stretched desktop modes and remote user-station setups able to be arranged in a variety of configurations such as 4x1, 3x1, 2x1 or 2x2 setups.
Guest connections are available for collaborative environments, allowing users to connect to the same source system simultaneously, both with and without USB control.
D-Series graphics cards
The Matrox D-Series graphics cards will also be shown at the show, using a custom-built NVIDIA Quadro embedded GPU to allow for playback and graphics performance on up to four HDMI or DisplayPort displays.
Up to four D-Series cards can be combined via board-to-board framelock cables to drive up to 16 synchronised 4K displays.
HDCP support for playback of protected audio and video content is provided as well as Microsoft DirectX 12, OpenGL 4.5 and OpenCL 1.2 support.
The D-Series integrates with Matrox’s videowall portfolio, with the cards able to be paired with Matrox Mura IPX capture and IP encode/decode cards for multi-channel 4K and full HD capture, streaming and recording support.
The cards can also be combined with Matrox QuadHead2Go multi-monitor controllers to power up to 64 1920x1080p60 displays from one system.
FlashTrack
Matrox will also host an AVIXA FlashTrack and a Matrox AV/IT ecosystem presentation, highlighting how the ‘narrative’ of AV-over-IP systems is shifting away from topics such as codecs, latency and colour-space quality levels to topics including open standards, interoperable ecosystems across brands and interoperable environments that converge data, communications and performance media over IP.
ISE 2020 will run from 11-14 February 2020 at the RAI Amsterdam, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
